PROJECT PROGRESS

American Legion Park is part of Let’s Play Houston, an initiative to revitalize 25 neighborhood parks! The proposed improvements to American Legion Park will enhance accessibility, connectivity, and recreational opportunities while creating a welcoming space for park users of all ages and abilities.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Community engagement is at the heart of Let’s Play Houston to ensure improvements are responsive to the community’s park needs. Houston Parks Board is partnering with local civic organizations and the council district office to gather feedback through various events in the neighborhood. Planned improvements will be informed by the feedback received. Special thanks to all assisting with this effort.
