Marissa is a dedicated field biologist with extensive experience in her field. After training at Brown University with highly skilled biologists, she forged a long career in conservation spanning 23 years and counting. As the Conservation Manager for Houston Parks Board, she is responsible for the careful and thoughtful conservation of the natural resources of our parks and open spaces. As a proud mom to two musically talented children and rescue dogs, Marissa understands the importance of protecting our resources to ensure we have beautiful outdoor spaces where families can spend quality time together.
