With fifteen years in the public and private sectors focused on large-scale infrastructure, climate resilience and strategic planning, Justin approaches his role as Chief Planning and Strategy Officer with the aim of expanding access to quality open space to all Houstonians. Justin’s role at the Houston Parks Board includes expanding partnerships and leading strategic initiatives, in addition to overseeing the organization’s planning studies.

Justin holds a Masters in Urban Planning from New York University and a BA from the University of Texas at Austin. A native Houstonian, Justin enjoys running on the myriad of Bayou Greenways trails around the city, reading non-fiction and trips to the Houston Zoo with his family.
