Houston Parks and Recreation Department and Houston Parks Board have teamed up with Friends of Pumpkin Park and community members to improve Pumpkin Park. Previously known as River Oaks Park, it was established in 1938 on five acres set aside for the public’s use during the development of the River Oaks subdivision. The renovation will include updates to the park’s historic community center.

While planning efforts are underway to determine the scope and budget for the renovation project, we are happy to provide the ability to make a donation through the form below. Checks can also be mailed to the Houston Parks Board office with a note designating Pumpkin Park. Once the scope of the project and budget are defined, we will provide more information on donation and recognition opportunities.
