COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Community engagement is at the heart of Let’s Play Houston to ensure improvements are responsive to the community’s park needs. Houston Parks Board partnered with local civic organizations and the council district office to gather feedback through a survey and various events in the neighborhood, including a pop-up event in the park on June 1, 2025, and a community listening session at Cimarron Elementary School on June 3, 2025. Planned improvements were informed by the feedback received. Special thanks to all who assisted with this effort.
