For voters in Harris County this November, there will be several bond propositions. The third, Proposition C, would put up to $200 million towards improving parks, trails, bayou greenspaces and more.
PROPOSITION C IS ABOUT PARKS AND TRAILS. THIS PROPOSITION MEANS UP TO $200 MILLION WILL GO TOWARDS MAINTAINING THINGS LIKE FACILITIES OR TRAILS; GETTING THE LAND TO BUILD NEW PARKS THAT IMPROVE OUR FLOOD RESILIENCE; CREATING MORE INCLUSIVE PARKS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND MORE.

Previously, parks-related projects were funded by bonds approved in past years. These bonds are almost up. Proposition C is on the ballot to continue funding parks-related projects in the county.
