George T. Nelson Park is located at 3820 Yellowstone Blvd, Houston, TX 77021. Begin the mission at any corner of the park. The METRO bus route 54 stop at Scott Street and Yellowstone Blvd is just across the street from the park. Agents can look forward to learning more about the history of the park’s namesake, George T. Nelson, thanks to the research and support by the OST/South Union Parks Project team.

Mason Park Bridge connects Mason Park across Brays Bayou at 541 S. 75th Street, Houston, TX 77023, and parking lots on the north and south sides of Brays Bayou provide access. METRO bus route 76 stop at 75th Street and John T. Mason Park can be found at the entrance of the south parking lot. Agents can look forward to learning about the wetlands at Mason Park through the eyes of the park’s namesake John T. Mason!

Bayou Parklands at Hermann Park is located at 6530 ½ Almeda Road between S. MacGregor and Holcombe. Parking is available near picnic pavilion, Lot P. If arriving by METRO, take bus route 11 along Almeda Road until you reach #9597 Almeda Road @ Dixie Dr. stop. Here, Agents can explore the banks of Brays Bayou and learn how different kinds of animals adapt to different temperatures outside.
