The Houston Parks Board was founded on a vision...a vision of creating more, better, and bigger parks.

Thanks to the passion and commitment of the many generous philanthropists of Houston, the Houston Parks Board has been able to make Houstonian's dreams a reality.

Since its inception, the Houston Parks Board has been involved in a wide variety of projects, from small beautification efforts to projects in the multi-million dollar range.

During an average year, the Houston Parks Board manages an estimated $4 million in parks projects. Since our inception, the total amount spent on projects has exceeded $50 million.
