Instagram Contest

Enter the #HouOnTheBayou photo contest to show off unique and beautiful perspectives of Houston.

Explore the Bayou Greenways and capture a photo of serene waterways, wildlife, people enjoying nature or a place that represents the history and culture of Houston. Your photos can showcase more than just places; try portraying a feeling or state of mind.

Winning photos from each category below will be on display at our annual Bayou Greenway Day festival in March, and the photographer with the “Best in Show” photo will receive a free photography class at the Houston Center for Photography and a $200 cash prize.

To enter, snap your best photos of what you’ve discovered on the bayous and post them on Instagram with the hashtag #HouOnTheBayou. Be sure to tag your location as well. Contest ends Sunday, March 4. Winners will be announced on our Instagram account, so be sure to follow @HoustonParksBoard.
