Where Will We Meet?:
Texas State Capitol, 1100 Congress Avenue, Austin TX 78701 District 148 Rep. Jessica Farrar’s office 1N.8 (See attached map: it is north of the rotunda on the first floor)
Here’s a map for parking: http://www.tspb.state.tx.us/CVC/plan/plparking.html
Construction around the parking garage means you need to enter on the north
There will be a carpool from Houston, leaving at 6am. Email email@example.com for more info.
What happens next?: 10 a.m. Presentation of Resolution, House Chambers (2nd Floor)
Then What?: Each group will start making office visits as assigned. Lunch will be on your own. There is a Cafeteria in the Capitol that is open to the public. http://austincapitolgrill.com/
What Should I Wear?: Business attire is appropriate. If you can wear GREEN to help identify you as part of the Houston Bayou Group, that would be great! Comfortable shoes are recommended as you may be on your feet and walking most of the day.
