You're invited!

On Friday, December 9, please join Houston Parks Board, Memorial Heights Redevelopment Authority (TIRZ 5), the Houston Parks and Recreation Department and the Harris County Flood Control District as we celebrate the opening of a new segment of White Oak Bayou Greenway.

This new hike-and-bike trail branches off from the Heights trail where it crosses Studemont St. and extends west two miles along White Oak Bayou.

Limited parking is available in the northwest corner of the Target parking lot at 2580 Shearn St. From there, follow the signs along the Heights trail (brown line) to the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Active transportation is encouraged. Please use the White Oak Bayou Greenway trail or the Heights Hike and Bike trail to travel to the ceremony. Plan your trip to the ceremony using METRO at www.ridemetro.org.

White Oak Bayou Greenway is part of a larger project called Bayou Greenways 2020. For more information, click here.
