Adaptive activities, pumpkin patch, petting zoo and more!

Join the Friends of Oak Forest Park for a fun, family-friendly festival benefitting a Playground for All Abilities, hosted by Friends of Oak Forest Park, Leather Apron Foundation and Houston Parks Board. $10/person suggested donation.

Activities include a Stroll & Roll costume parade, Arts Alive! "Halloween Happening" expressive arts, petting zoo, fitness for all abilities, Disney-trained caricature artist Tom Rye, pick-your-own pumpkin patch, games, music, trick or treating, festival food, wine tasting, craft beer garden, donor recognition opportunities and more. Houston Parks & Recreation Dept. Adaptive Sports & Recreation will host wheelchair basketball and rugby, and the Monster Dash obstacle course. Performance by the acclaimed Fly Dance Company, "the gentlemen of hip-hop".

Guests of Honor include Mayor Pro Tem Ellen Cohen, Council Member District C and Michelle Colvard, former Ms. Wheelchair America and Texas. A lifelong advocate for people with disabilities, Michelle was instrumental in developing the Vale-Asche Playground Without Limits at Memorial Park. Click here to RSVP.
